Psalm 91
This chapter represents God’s protection over us. We should not fear any evil.
1Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.
3 For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
8 Just open your eyes,
and see how the wicked are punished.9 If you make the Lord your refuge,
if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your home.
11 For he will order his angels
to protect you wherever you go.
12 They will hold you up with their hands
so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.
13 You will trample upon lions and cobras;
you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!
14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.
I will protect those who trust in my name.
15 When they call on me, I will answer;
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.
16 I will reward them with a long life
and give them my salvation.”
This is truly a reassuring chapter!!
Hot Air Balloon
Don’t you sometimes feel like you’re in a hot air balloon that’s not lifting up? You need to blow fire into the balloon to create the hot air, that then makes the balloon rise… It’s the same with our walk with God. You need to allow the Holy spirit in your life for your spirit to lift (light up). And always trust in God to keep you safe, because when you’re in the air and you decide to jump out… it’s a long way down and it’s hard to get back in… (you can but it’s harder)…
Just a little something I got from God tonight at our prayer group and I wanted to share it with you all. I trust this will help someone 🙂
Be Blessed and remember not to look down 🙂
Lamentations 3 19:24 – So refreshing
The thought of my suffering and homelessness
is bitter beyond words.
I will never forget this awful time,
as I grieve over my loss.
Yet I still dare to hope
when I remember this:The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning.
I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance;
therefore, I will hope in him!”
even when you go through suffering for your sins God will always be there for you and you can always put your hope in Him. amen to that!
Infirmities in your life
We had a visitor at our Church a few weekends ago. His name is Pastor Nicky. He gave a wonderful message regarding trials in our lives. And I want to share my views regarding the message he gave.
Jesus died on the cross for us, to set us free, and I think He really meant it. So when you stumble and you have infirmities in your life, try not to moan about it or be negative. Go through the trial with God. He does even say that He will not put you through something you cannot handle: 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NLT)
The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
I like the NKJV:
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
Moaning or being negative about our infirmities will isolate us from God, because we stop having faith in His word like above verses. That then causes us to stop focusing on what is important and focus more on the negative which is coming from satan…
It’s called being human, and we may fall victim to these kinds of things easily and never realize it, and I believe that is why God wanted me and MANY other people to start blogs, safe houses, Churches, prayer groups etc to be mediums for God. And so that God can communicate with all of us regarding these things distracting us from being in His presence ALL the time.
Remember Christianity is not a chore, it’s a privilege so enjoy it and be grateful.
Blessings!!
