Doubt that the stars are balls of fire, doubt that the Sun moves, doubt that truth speaks the truth, but never doubt God’s love for you.

That’s something deep to ponder about

I heard this saying: Couples that pray together will stay together.  They did some research in America and  found that 1/5 people get divorced.  Which is a scary ratio, knowing that according to the bible it says when you get married your not allowed to get divorced for any simple reason except for unfaithfulness….

Malachi 2:16 (NLT)

“For I hate divorce!” says the Lord, the God of Israel…

And then after the above research they went and did another test, where the couples prayed together once a day.  And guess what? The ratio changed from 1/5 to 1/500 !!!!  Amazing hey? 🙂 It makes my spirit jump up and down inside of me !!

There’s always a way, through God, to solve a problem.  So what I challenge you tonight, is to sit down before you go to bed and read a verse or chapter out of the Bible and then pray together.  And see how your relationship changes.  It changes from a normal love to agape (Greek word for love) love.  It’s known as the love of God that He has for us.  You and your other half will now become joined with God in a relationship when praying together, and the tripod(three pillars = you, your companion and God) creates more strength in the relationship! And you will be able to endure more things in fact ALL things 🙂

May you have peace and grace everywhere you go!

Don’t go anywhere without Jesus by your side.

When you do not charge your phone, the battery dies and it switches off, right?

It’s the same with your spiritual life, if you don’t “charge” it you fall backwards.

So even when you feel down/tired/busy, always try and charge your spirit.  It’s not difficult, you can charge your spirit by saying a quick prayer, talking to someone about Jesus, singing a song while your “busy”, read the Bible, being kind towards others like Jesus was etc.  It’s vital to charge your spirit, cause if you don’t you loose all your “info” when you run out of battery life.  And in the world we live in today, your battery gets “chowed” very quick, it’s like you have 10 apps running at the same time on your system. 🙂 hehe. No but seriously, the devil always tries and drain you when he sees that your running on a new and full battery. The following piece from the Bible tells us how important it is to read the Bible.  You can go read it from verse 1 actually it’s an awesome chapter 🙂

Psalm 119:41-45 (NLT)

Lord, give me your unfailing love,

the salvation that you promised me.

Then I can answer those who taunt me,

for I trust in your word. —— > The Bible is the only thing we can trust.

Do not snatch your word of truth from me,

for your regulations are my only hope. ——- >It’s our only hope of survival.

I will keep on obeying your instructions

forever and ever.

I will walk in freedom, —– > you can be assured that you’ll be free if you charge your battery everyday.

for I have devoted myself to your commandments.

Be blessed.  Always be thankful for what you have. Even when sitting in traffic….. Because you have a car in order to sit there…. 🙂

Being perfect

November 23, 2011 Leave a comment

Matthew 5: 48 (NLT)

But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.

We sometimes try and be as perfect as God, but then end up being worse than what we were.  I think perfection forms through progress/practice.

Don’t try and be sinless etc immediately because I don’t know of anyone who leads a sinless life, do you?  So we will get there by putting to practice all the laws God has laid down for us.  It’s like climbing into a formula 1 racing car… you wont even know how to put the car into 1st gear and pull away.. it takes practice and obedience in the “training’ process.  Start by working on the problems you know you struggle with and try and improve on those first.  I don’t think God would expect us to stop with sin immediately as He knows how full this world is of it.  But the fact that He knows you are working towards perfection is a wonderful feeling for God.  Even if you never reach perfection, but you’ve been progressing towards it, by eliminating the sins you’ve had problems with etc you will surely have a mansion waiting for you in heaven when you need to go there.

If we had no perfection to work towards, we would not be excited to meet God one day.  So look forward to the challenges ahead.  God loves us all.  And through Him we can succeed in anything.

This blog does not mean that you can sin etc, it simply explains why we shouldn’t try and be perfect once off, because I know from experience that it’s extremely difficult, being perfect means you don’t sin at all… so you basically make a promise you can’t keep, if you end up sinning afterwards.

I love and believe in Jesus.  And I ask that you do not see this blog in the wrong perspective, as I can understand this could raise some questions, but it’s just an eye opener if you read it with your spirit.

treat your enemy like you family.

Be blessed!

Stop spending time with your sin

November 22, 2011 3 comments

I realized today, that we spend allot of time thinking about the sins we have done or how bad we are for sinning etc.

But Jesus died on the cross for our sins, so after repenting we shouldn’t have regret over the sins we did or feel bad about them anymore, for that will make us lose out on precious time we can celebrate the forgiveness God has given us.  By repenting and then sulking about what you DID(past tense) it eliminates the forgiven factor that should play a role after repenting.  I’m not saying you can keep on sinning and then just repent and so on, I’m just saying after repentance there should be a prayer done, where you ask God to send you the Grace and joy that you should have for the privilege of knowing a God that forgives you for what you have done.  We must then spend time in praising the Lord and building on the relationship that we have.  Because that’s what you need in order to strengthen your walls against the sins you have committed  (What I mean by that is to be able to resist future acts of sin)

May God’s Grace surround you all and may Jesus walk in front of you every step of the way.

Keep on Hoping

Matthew 26:39 (NLT)

My Father! If possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me.  Yet I want your Will to be done, not mine.

Jesus prayed and asked God to take away the suffering that was about to take place in His life, but he would go through it if it was God’s Will…

We sometimes go through tough times and we cant see the light at the end of the tunnel, but what we must do is keep on praying, hoping and trusting God, and you will soon see your breakthrough/challenge come to pass.  We cannot ask for something and when God prepares us for it, we try and run away…  Everything happens for a reason, we do not always see the point in things at the moment they happen, but there’s always a good reason for everything.  God knows best, put your trust in Him, and everything will be okay.

Love, Praise and Cherish Jesus our Savior.

You’ll never be bored when you let Jesus come aboard…
