Purifying system

 

You know these water purifying systems almost every household owns nowadays?  Well in South Africa we do 🙂

Now, have you noticed when you pour water in at the top, it takes quite some time for it to actually reach the bottom as it travels through various amounts of filtering processes.  Now this is a good thing, because while traveling through this filter process, it gets rid of all the bacteria/algae etc from the water, which means it’s being purified so that you can actually drink healthy water…

 

This is sometimes why prayers do not always get answered immediately.  God acts as our filter and we pray for water, but then God picks up that the water we are praying for is carrying a few nasty bacteria’s which will influence our health.  So He then starts purifying the water and changing our wishes into a safe healthy drinking water.  We sometimes question the things that happen, but it’s really just God purifying the situation so that we do not fall ill.  And the big thing about this is, we do not realize that God actually just saved us from falling ill… because it’s already been prevented without us even knowing it.

 

Allow God to purify your life/prayers/ dreams, so that you end up with the healthy water and not the filthy water.
Give others the healthy water aswell.

Sin can destroy you

 

 

Hi all,

a Jet engine is designed by engineers and built to perfection in order to make sure the people on the plane arrive at their destination safely at great speeds.  But when that engine is switched on, and a small piece of debris flows through the turbine of one of the engines, that engine ends up catching fire or even exploding.  And then obviously the plane loses it’s ability to fly…  Then if the damage did not destroy the main components of the turbine, the engineers would be able to repair the engine, and ultimately be used again.

 

It’s the same with our lives.  God (The Engineer) designed us in His own image and so we are perfect.  But when we allow sin to flow through us, we start to go bad.  And the sin ends up pulling us down to the point where we lose everything we have or even die.  The only way you can be rescued is if you repair yourself before it’s too late and you end up in hell.  God WILL always be there for us, and WILL always be willing to repair us, as He loves us so much that He sacrificed His only Son for our sins.  It’s NEVER too late, only if you end up dying because of the sin.  But you can be at your LOWEST, no money, no family, no friends, NOTHING and God can still pick you up and help you reclaim life!

 

Romans 4: 3-5 (NLT)

³ For the Scriptures tell us, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.”

⁴ When people work, their wages are not a gift, but something they have earned. ⁵ But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.

Now it says here that Abraham BELIEVED God.  Faith is believing in something/someone… like God.  So it’s not just about what we do, but in who we believe and put our faith in that will rescue us from our sins.
