How strong is your loyalty towards God?
I read an article today regarding loyalty and it made me think about our loyalty towards God.
Can we really say that we are truly loyal to God?
Luke 22 : 34
34 Jesus answered, “I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.”
Peter did not agree with Jesus, yet he ended up disowning Him three times before the rooster crowed.
This makes me wonder… Peter was in the presence of Jesus, saw Him doing miracles but still managed to deny Him. Won’t it be easier for us to deny Him then? We have never physically met Jesus or see Him do miracles.
It’s easy to say, I love Jesus and I will die for Him, but will we really? Will you choose Jesus ( Whom you have never even met in person) above your spouse, baby boy (I’m a dad now) or daughter? Let’s say the government says you need to accept a certain mark on your body in order to trade ( buy groceries etc) and you know that it might be the mark of the beast. Will you trust in Jesus to provide food for your 6 month old baby or will you accept the mark in order to provide essential nutrients to your growing baby?
I’ve never thought of it in this much detail.. have you?
My loyalty for God is at the top of my list. And I have the faith to trust in Jesus to provide. His proven it over and over…
Will you?
My timing is perfect
Remember that I am God of justice, says the Lord. As you wait for my intervention in your circumstances, know that I have not forgotten you. Though it seems like I am late, remember Lazarus, how I came to resurrect him four days after he had died. Although it seemed too late in the natural, my timing was perfect, and I am the same yesterday, today and forever! I don’t overlook my children and I don’t turn a blind eye to injustice.
Thank me for my perfect timing today. Thank me for my justice and watch what I am about to do in your life, says the Lord.
Psalm 25:3
Indeed none of those who wait for you will be ashamed; those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed.
Psalm 89:14
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; loving kindness and truth go before you.

David and Goliath
This was a sermon at our church last Sunday. It meant allot to me and I thought that I should share it with others…
Please go read the following thoroughly:
Just like David, we face giants in our lives almost everyday. And most of the time we try to fight them on our own… just like some warriors would with their sword or javelin…
Sometimes you go around asking for advice from other people and they end up giving you negative advice or discouraging you from going forward… David was told off by his brother Eliab and King Saul, but he was persistent to go forward and conquer the giant in front of him…
You will notice he never got angry or frustrated with them, but carried on motivating why he should do it… This is how we should be, if someone tells you off, you shouldn’t get frustrated or angry with them for they do not always know the reason why God allowed you to get into the situation (Please note that God doesn’t cause the giants, but He allows it as He knows that you will benefit from it), but carry on looking for ways to go forward and conquer your giant.
David did not go out and fight the giant on his own, he went knowing through faith that God will be victorious over the giant, and he proclaimed it to the giant. We need to proclaim the power of God when we take on the giants in our lives, this gives glory to God and signifies His existence.
Never be afraid or lose faith in God, just always remember, no matter how big the giant may be, God is bigger… Giants always have a weakness, God is perfect and does not have any weaknesses…
David, a young man, with no armour, sword or shield triumphed over Goliath a strong, tall, experienced champion of war with only a sling, stone and faith. Now that tells you that God will always be there with us, we just need to believe and ask God for assistance.
I trust this will mean as much to you as it does for me!
Have a blessed evening !

Experience God’s loveRomans 8:38-39 Do you not know that nothing can separate you from my love? But I would have you position yourself to receive and experience and encounter the fullness of my love and everything that flows out of my love for you. So come away with me, turn aside with me and experience and know, experientially, the boundless infinitude of my love. Song of Solomon 8:7 |
You belong to God

Anxiety and worries? Why?
Matthew 6:26
New Living Translation (NLT)
26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to Him than they are?
There is so much worry and anxiety out there in the world. And I thought that I would share the above verse with you all that I got from God today. Is this not true? If He provides food to the birds, animals and plants on earth, would He not provide us with our needs? He created earth and everything on it for US. So He will definitely look out for us as well. In our busy lives that we live in today it’s hard not to have anxiety or worries because we are pressured by something or someone around every corner, but we need to keep the above verse in our minds and remember that God will not put you into something that He will not take you through. There is an unexplainable reason for everything that happens and we only find out what the reason for these things are when we are supposed to. (And it’s always after it has happened) But in the end we understand why certain things happened the way they did and end up being happier or better off…
So, remember that you are more important to God than the plants and the creatures and yet He looks after them as well.
Stay blessed and I trust that the above verse will take you through every anxious encounter.
