The grapes within us

To make wine, you grow the grapes,  harvest them when they are ripe and then take them through the proses of fermentation etc…

Now this is a difficult example for me to use in the blog but I got it from The Man above so here goes:

We all have a “grapevine” inside of us, and it’s our decision how we grow and use it.  Now if you choose to continue with watering the grapes they will grow and eventually you can turn them into wine.  Now  to explain this in our daily lives I’m trying to say, if you continue to sin (watering) the sin will grow into something very strong and end up taking everything from you.  Now what I mean by this in the wine example : wine is alcohol and if one abuses alcohol too much you end up losing your job, family and life…

And if you choose to let the grapevine dry out a bit, the grapes you have on it will end up turning into raisins which are healthy for one’s body, this means if you stop feeding your life with sin and drying out the sin in your life you end up being healthier and doing the right things.  The drying out process would be spending time with God by reading the Bible and praying.

Romans 6:12-13 (NLT)

12 Do not let sin control the way you live;  do not give in to sinful desires. 13 Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.

This was a very hard topic for me to use, but I trust and believe every topic God sends, is meant for someone.

Be Blessed!
